Conducting environmental due diligence for developers and owners for the acquisition or divestiture of commercial real estate is a major area of our business. These properties range from vacant parcels to office buildings and retail precincts. Our services include site assessments to address environmental concerns, and the design and implementation of remediation programs to clean-up soils and groundwater. We also provide geotechnical and site civil engineering for the redevelopment of brownfields, as well as greenfield site development.
Our senior staff have strong experience as expert witnesses, especially in due diligence work and in dispute and conflict resolution, covering a diversity of technical issues. This has involved acting as expert witnesses in the resolution of issues of responsibility, and as support for sound conceptual design and/or liability assessment and option ranking.
